The poem “To an athlete dying young” was one of my favorite poems this week  my class had  read because of how E.A. Housman writes about the laurel wilting faster than a rose i like how it symbols life is short and the young man who was in the casket after he had won and made a world recorded was sad to me also because he will not know what or who may have beat his recorded just because he died at a young age.Its sad to think that one day that we will be there going down the road in a casket to be burred under ground ,but eventually we all will die but hopefully not yet.
